I am looking into the possibility of organising an overseas tour to Holland in 2007, format will be leave Friday AM travel via ferry, game on Saturday, game on Sunday home Monday all washed down with loads of beer and very little sleep!! Possible date will be August Bank Holiday weekend 2007. What do you think??? This is in no way detraction from the normal tour but an extra chance to spread the word abroad!!

Definately involved. The Dutch are big followers of Kung Fu and they play cricket in clogs. In addition to this, they serve big fat Spliffs and space cakes at tea! _________________ Jackie Chan

Very keen Bugs and the August bank holiday would be a good replacement for the former Winton weekends.
Cheers

Do we have to play any cricket? This can be quite time consuming and detremental to morale. |

Cricket not an essential part! Drinking is however, think we will have to put out some kind of team! |

All over this idea and sweating at the prospect like a nun in a cucumber field!!!! After a visit last year, Holland is a must, I think we should agree to play 20/20 style games out there as all day games will only impede our enjoyment of the local pleasures! Maybe we could corrupt Mark Burton further by introducing him to the mushroom pizzas!!!!!!!
My first day back in the office after two weeks away and i've found myself oddly drawn straight to the Meopham CC website. I've read further boring emails from the likes of Mr Edwards, thank you for your input, I hope i'm not abusing the forum here but I'd like to say that I will be going on tour this year and will need Monday to Friday accomodation! I will be paying all my dues this weekend, please form an orderly queue in front of Sparkesy's cheque book!

Hello to one and all who remember me...
I saw this Holland Tour thing and thought I'd join this crazy online fun!
Foggy has actually asked if I'd tour this year so you had some proper boozers in Devon but unfortunatley it's all too close to my 1st wedding anniversary. Would actually be my last aswell if I went... But this Holland plan seems far more interesting. Toured there years back - I think even Foggy could turn a cricket ball on horse-hair matting! Shall keep an eye on the site for further details...
No doubt I'll see some of you on 4th August... |

I've been in contact with the team who visited us in 2003 and they want a fixture So the plan is now to leave Thursday evening get there Thursday night play them on Friday stay there Friday night, travel to Amsterdam Sat AM play there Saturday & Sunday come home mondey with damaged livers. We could make the Friday game a 20/20? Any thoughts? |

Awesome! Another day to push the liver to its limits! Are there any Scorpions in Holland? _________________ Jackie Chan
